Do Tempur-Pedic mattresses contain latex?

Tempur-Pedic^® mattresses do not contain latex. Tempur-Pedic^® mattresses are produced from 100% new materials with safety, quality, and the environment in mind. Tempur-Pedic^® exceeds all industry standards and conducts proprietary tests to ensure our products adhere to all local, state, and federal health regulations.

Can I use a box spring with my mattress?

Box springs cannot be used with Tempur mattresses. Box springs are designed to "give" in supporting a traditional mattress while Tempur-Pedic mattresses require a solid base. If you are not interested in a power base, we recommend using our flat foundations that can be used in place of a box spring, available in three height options.

You can also place your mattress on a platform frame that is solid and sturdy or you can use a slatted foundation/platform as long as the slats measure to at least 3 inches in width and are no more than 4 inches apart.

Will your mattress make me hot?

We get this question often, but in fact, sleeping warm on a Tempur-Pedic mattress is not an issue that our owners raise frequently. Our mattresses are designed to respond to your body temperature, which activates their ability to conform to your body, offering support and reducing pressure points. It’s worth noting that with the improved support and reduced pressure points on your body, sleeping on our mattresses helps increase circulation, you may find you need fewer covers—and it may even help your cold hands and feet in the cooler months. To aid in alleviating heat, we recommend using sheets and linens that are lightweight and breathable like a bamboo blend.

Can I use a mattress pad with my mattress?

We do not recommend using a mattress pad with our mattresses—it will create a barrier between your body and the TEMPUR^® material, lowering the mattress’s ability to respond to your body weight and temperature.

If you feel like your mattress is too firm you are welcome to use a mattress topper to help soften the feel of your mattress.

Can I wash my pillow?

No, the pillows are not washable, as TEMPUR^® material is very sensitive to liquids. Your cover, however, is removable and washable. Please wash with a mild detergent in cold water, then hang to dry. If you are unsure about the care instructions for your pillow, please check the care instructions on the tag on your pillow.

How do I know what size neck pillow to purchase?

It is important to note that the length of our Neck Pillows are the same no matter the size you purchase. The different sizing allows you to choose what pillow height you need/want for the tallest point of the pillow to be.

How do I keep my pillow clean?

For filled pillows, if you want to “clean“ your pillow, follow these simple steps to allow the material to breathe and absorb fresh air:

1. Remove the pillow case and roll the pillow like a sleeping bag.
2. Then unroll and repeat this procedure rolling in the opposite direction.

If your pillow has a removable cover, remove the cover, wash in cold water with a mild detergent, and hang to dry.

What is the difference between the cloud Pro Pillow height options?

The Cloud Pro Pillow is available in three height/feel options: Lo, Mid, and Hi. The Lo is an extra soft feel with a lower height, best suited for stomach and back sleepers. The Mid is a soft feel that is best suited for average framed people and all sleeping positions. The Hi is the same height as the mid, but is a medium feel and best suited for larger framed individuals and side/back sleepers.
