NOW Foods was founded by Elwood Richard in 1968, long before healthy foods and natural supplements were mainstream. A degreed physical chemist with an interest in nutrition, Mr. Richard was particularly intrigued by the idea of enhancing athletes’ physical performance through the use of healthy foods and nutritional supplements.
